About us

"Open Medical Club" Charitable Foundation (OMC) was founded in 2002 on the basis of “Salzburg Medical Seminars International” Project, which was set in frames of “Public Health Program” of Open Society Institute (Soros Foundation). Since 2003 “Salzburg Medical Seminars International” Project is conducted by the OMC with support of Open Society Institute, American Austrian Foundation and Open Health Institute.

Our goals are the activities aimed at:

1.Promotion of health care by:

• assistance in education in health care
• information dissemination
• knowledge exchange between health care providers
• provision of legal assistance to patients and health care providers.

2.Social and legal assistance to vulnerable populations.
3.Social and legal assistance to women.
